Until there is a reopening of the Chicago chapter, those wishing to join RAFA and receive RAFA retiree news via email may join RAFA as "Members at Large" and may switch to RAFA Chicago when the chapter reopens. For those of you who were able to attend, I salute you. How special that we were able to honor each other, and our retired flying partner, Nimbi Cushing. Her talk about growing up as a sharecropper was mesmerizing. Nimbi's talk was plain and inspiring. I am so pleased that she was willing, and able, to come and be with us. I am also grateful that she brought some wonderful friends with her. The room was full, the room was quiet, the room was moved by her beautiful, awe inspiring words.
